Our mission is to support, protect, and expand civil rights in Missouri by campaigning for two initiative petitions for the 2026 ballot:

 1) Updating the Missouri Constitution's definition of marriage from “between a man and a woman” to “between two consenting adults” - regardless of gender (2026-18)

2) Expanding Missouri's anti-discrimination laws to include sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, and marital status regarding employment, housing, and public accommodations. (2026-19)"

  • MO for LGBTQ is entirely based on the hard work of our volunteers. 100 % of donations will go directly into supporting initiative petitions 2026-18 and 2026-19.

Until May 2026, contributions will be used to fund the printing of petitions for circulation, volunteer recruitment fliers, supplies for circulators, and costs associated with circulating our petitions at events across the state of Missouri. Between May 2026- Nov 2026, funds will be used to advertise and promote the ballot initiatives.

  • We only need a simple majority (51%) of voters to say yes to either/both ballot measures for them to pass!
